BIO

Anthony is a New York City and Toronto based actor and theatre maker, originally from Winnipeg.


Anthony has worked in theatre across Canada, credits include; Alan in EQUUS (Citadel, directed by James MacDonald), Billy in Edward Albee's THE GOAT or, WHO IS SYLVIA? (Centaur, dir by Ken Livingston / MTC, dir by Chris Sigurdson), Noah in OLIVER! (Vancouver Playhouse), Brodie in Tom Stoppard's THE REAL THING (MTC, dir by Michael Shamata), Gary in SHOPPING & FUCKING (Pi, dir by Del Surjik and Diane Brown), and Bill Mercer in LEAVING HOME (Soulpepper, directed by Ted Dykstra).
In New York, Anthony has worked with NY Theatre Experiment, Stage Left Studio, the Ensemble Studio Theatre's Youngblood, HardSparks, 13th St Theatre, the Management Theatre Co. and HorseTrade Theater Group. Most recently Anthony participated in The Public Theater’s 2011 Shakespeare Lab, headed by Barry Edelstein, played the role of ‘Ken’ opposite Joel Leffert in The Public Theatre of Maine’s production of John Logan’s RED, and starred in the world premiere of I WANNA DESTROY YOU by Josh Conkel at the Beckett Theatre at Theatre ROW on 42nd St.
His original work has been produced across Canada, in New York City and in New Jersey. ART'S HEART was awarded Outstanding Solo Show at the 2009 NY Fringe Festival and TENDERPITS was selected as Best Multi-Media Performance at NY's 2010 United Solo Festival.
He is represented by The Jim Flynn Agency, NYC and Rachel Neville-Fox at Noble Caplan Abrams, Toronto.
Anthony is a graduate of Vancouver’s Studio 58.
