CANDIDE Comes to Adelaide in May
State Opera and State Theatre Company South Australia have come together for the first time in more than a decade to bring the Tony and Olivier award-winning operetta, Leonard Bernstein’s Candide, to Her Majesty’s Theatre next month.

Australia's oldest early-music ensemble, Adelaide Baroque, returns with new impetus in 2023 with a four concert Orchestral Series and a five concert Explorations Series, before finishing the year with their first full performance of Handel's Messiah, in collaboration with Anthony Hunt and the choir of St Peter's Cathedral, in what will be a first performance of the Messiah on historical instruments in Adelaide.

Australian Singing Competition Finalists Announced
On Saturday 11 August eleven Semi Finalists performed in front of an impressive judging panel including Linnhe Robertson (National Adjudicator), Michael Halliwell, Anthony Hunt and Noemi Nadelmann to secure only five places in the 2018 Australian Singing Competition Finals Concert that will be held on Saturday 8 September at Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

2016 Melbourne Ring Cycle Announces Subsidised Tickets, Talks, Tours & More
Opera Australia's largest and most ambitious production returns to Melbourne in 2016. Directed by Neil Armfield, Wagner's Ring Cycle will play at Arts Centre Melbourne from 21 November to 16 December 2016. Melbourne Ring Cycle 2016 comprises four operas - Das Rheingold, Die Walkure, Siegfried and Gotterdammerung - totalling around 16 hours of music. As in 2013, the cycle of four operas will be performed three times.

This autumn, Artistic Director Douglas Rintoul launches his first season at the Queen's Theatre Hornchurch with the first ever revival of the hit musical Made in Dagenham. Bringing the West End hit back to its roots just a stone's throw from The Ford Factory Dagenham in which it is set, the co-production with New Wolsey Theatre Ipswich presents a company of twenty-one actor musicians which is bolstered further by six members of the Queen's Youth Theatre.

This is the largest ever cast to appear on the theatre's stage and is led by Daniella Bowen as the busy mum, loving wife and hard-working Ford factory employee, Rita O'Grady.
