Battery Dance will celebrates the 42nd Anniversary of its free summer festival from August 12-18, 2023, in partnership with Battery Park City Authority. The 42nd Annual Battery Dance Festival will feature in-person and live-streamed performances staged each night at Rockefeller Park, Battery Park City, New York City at 7PM ET, with a rain date on 8/19.

Magnet Theater Announces Lineup For 11th Annual New York Musical Improv Festival
Magnet Theater presents The Eleventh Annual New York Musical Improv Festival from March 12 - 15, 2020 at 254 W. 29th Street, ground floor (between 7th and 8th Avenues), NYC. Most tickets are $5-$15 and feature performances by two to four different musical improv acts per show. Festival Workshops are also being offered to people of all levels of experience!

Hybrid Theatre Works Opens U.S. Premiere of COMEDY OF SORROWS at HERE Tonight
Comedy of Sorrows (Commedia Al-Ahzaan) follows a young university-educated Egyptian woman who, through a series of encounters with different members of society, comes to realize that she had been oblivious to the poverty and misery of her fellow Egyptians. The play presents a collective and unsentimental account of a nation's awakening. Through a unique combination of vivid poetry and colloquial dialogue, it celebrates the uprising of a people, while at the same time anticipating the uncertainty and tumult of a nation struggling to transition to democracy.

Curtain Call Performing Arts will present Live with the Shawn Megofna Band, the second concert as part of CCPA's Unplugged Concert Series. The Shawn Megofna Band (TSMB) is composed of talented, fun, and energetic individuals from the Bay Area. TSMB fuses island, reggae, acoustic, and rock genres into one complete sound, and will perform covers and original works, while also raising funds for two deserving Bay Area organizations; San Leandro Relay For Life (2/22) and the Bay Area Fight Academy (2/23).

'Assassins' is the odd story about 9 individuals who over time have attempted to assassinate the President of the United States. The show explores the inner motives of each assassin. Eventually, each individual must confront the fact that committing the ultimate crime failed to assuage their personal problems.
