The 42nd Annual Battery Dance Festival will feature in-person and live-streamed performances staged each night at Rockefeller Park, Battery Park City, New York City at 7PM ET, with a rain date on 8/19.

The play presents a collective and unsentimental account of a nation's awakening. Through a unique combination of vivid poetry and colloquial dialogue, it celebrates the uprising of a people, while at the same time anticipating the uncertainty and tumult of a nation struggling to transition to democracy.

The Shawn Megofna Band (TSMB) is composed of talented, fun, and energetic individuals from the Bay Area. TSMB fuses island, reggae, acoustic, and rock genres into one complete sound, and will perform covers and original works, while also raising funds for two deserving Bay Area organizations; San Leandro Relay For Life (2/22) and the Bay Area Fight Academy (2/23).
