Actors Connection Celebrates NYC Acting Community with FREE Customer Appreciation Weekend

Under the new leadership of President Colleen Finnegan Kahl, Actors Connection is happy to announce its first ever CUSTOMER APPRECIATION WEEKEND. The weekend will consist of 11 free events for performers and is the first of several new community outreach initiatives Actors Connection will bring to the professional entertainment community in the coming months.
The NYCity Slickers Push Back Spring Show at Feinstein's/54 Below

As previously announced, Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, will present an evening of Broadway Bluegrass with The NYCity Slickers. The concert, originally scheduled for April 7th, has been moved to Tuesday, April 18th at 9:30pm.

The Drama Book Shop will host author and career coach Annie Chadwick to celebrate the launch of her new book, On Stage: The NYC Theatrical Sourcebook on Monday, November 16th, 2015 at 5:00pm. She will be joined by long-time theatrical press agent Susan L. Schulman, author of Backstage Pass to Broadway, one of Amazon's 100 best selling books on theatre.

The 35th annual Mississippi Picnic, held yesterday in New York in Central Park, had something for everyone. Alexis Brown (Madison) is a former special assistant and events coordinator at the Mississippi Development Authority and state coordinator for the picnic since 1992 and she once again had a wonderful event planned out for New York City. Governor Phil Bryant and his wife Deborah were there to support the event.
