Both Joseph Leo Bwarie and Christine Lakin reprise their co-directorial roles of this retro retelling of the classic Cinderella story. Christine managed to break away from rehearsal to answer a few of my queries.

Amanda Kloots will star in and executive produce Fir for Christmas from writer and executive producer Anna White (“Christmas Wonderland”). The film follows the tale of Audrey, an enthusiastic Christmas-obsessed fitness instructor at a beloved, financially beleaguered community center in quaint Mistletoe, Montana.
Denise Richards Stars in THE SECRET LIVES OF CHEERLEADERS on Lifetime
As the summer comes to a close and co-eds head back to school, Lifetime delivers five spirited movies revealing the dark side of cheerleading in the Cheer, Rally, Kill line-up of movies, premiering between September 2nd through September 15th. Denise Richards (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) and Savannah May headline The Secret Lives of Cheerleaders, premiering on Labor Day, Monday September 2. Four additional movies will air on back-to-back weekends as the dog days of summer wane. Identity Theft of a Cheerleader featuring Gail O' Grady and Maiara Walsh debuts September 7th, The Wrong Cheerleader starring Vivica A. Fox and Cristine Prosperi airs September 8th, The Cheerleader Escort with Alexandra Beaton premieres September 14th, and Undercover Cheerleader starring Kayla Wallace closes the slate on September 15th. Cast and Creative Announced for The Festival of New Musicals at Village Theatre
With one week left until The 17th Annual Festival of New Musicals, Village Theatre is excited to announce the casting for Nikola Tesla Drops the Beat, an electronic pop musical about one of the world's greatest inventors; Hart Island, a look at social justice and the people society has forgotten; Afterwords, a tale of art and love; Howl's Moving Castle, based on the novel by Diana Wynne Jones; and ZM, a hilarious romp through a zombie-filled future by the Tony Award-winning authors of Urinetown. Taking place in Issaquah on August 11-13, 2017, The Festival of New Musicals provides an essential platform for writers to incorporate a key component of live theatre - the audience. Each new musical will be rehearsed during the week, then present to the audience in staged reading format, performed in full using scripts.

Westport Country Playhouse Announces Casting Change in LETTICE AND LOVAGE
Westport Country Playhouse announces that Kandis Chappell has joined the cast of "Lettice and Lovage" in the role of Miss Lettice Douffet, beginning Thursday, June 1. Due to a health issue, the original actress playing Lettice had to leave the role during final rehearsals. She is doing well and wished a speedy recovery.
