AnnaLisa has seen the country from summer stock in Wisconsin and Missouri to regional theatre in North Carolina and Minnesota. Favorite roles include: Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd; Gertrude in The Sea Horse; Aldonza in Man of La Mancha; and Sister Hubert in Nuncrackers alongside Sally Struthers. BroadwayWorld and StageSceneLA cited her Fraulein Schneider as one of Southern California’s Best Supporting Performances in MTLA’s Cabaret; that role also earned her double Garland Award nominations from Backstage. 2010 Best Performance Award from StageSceneLA as Ms. Pennywise in Urinetown, and in 2012 as Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd. Proud member of critically-acclaimed Rogue Machine Theatre.

Review: THE DROWSY CHAPERONE Centers on Taming a Pampered Starlet on Her Wedding Day
THE DROWSY CHAPERONE with music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison, book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar, offers audiences a toe-tapping trip back to the golden age of musicals, and took Broadway by storm, winning five Tony Awards. It spoofs musical-comedy fanatics and the genre itself, often called one of the wittiest, craziest shows ever to hit Broadway. The very entertaining production at Santa Monica's Morgan-Wixson Theatre through October 13 is directed by Kristie Mattsson, produced by Michael Jackson Heimos, with music direction by Daniel Koh, and choreography by Niko Montelibano.

Santa Monica's Morgan-Wixson Theatre is sharing the comedy so prevalent in Florence Foster Jenkins performances by presenting "GLORIOUS! the True Story of Florence Foster Jenkins, the Worst Singer in The World" written by Peter Quilter through February 5, 2017. It is a hilarious and heart-warming comedy, somewhat similar to the 2016 film Florence Foster Jenkins starring Meryl Streep. As directed by Anne Gesling, and thanks to the brilliant performance of AnnaLisa Erickson as Florence, we get to know the real woman who truly believes she is the best opera singer in the world - with a remarkable ability to ignore the taunts and laughter from her critics and audiences in the pursuit of her dream. Erickson's ability to overplay Florence's brutally imperfect singing and flamboyant physical style to perfection is captivating.

A playground altercation between eleven-year-old boys brings together two sets of parents for a meeting to resolve the matter in GOD OF CARNAGE, now onstage at Santa Monica's Morgan-Wixson Theatre through February 8, 2015. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off, with the parents becoming increasingly childish, resulting in the evening devolving into chaos.
