BIO
Anna is a professional theatre artist and ecological gardener based in Royal Oak, Michigan. She studied Musical Theatre at Oakland University and spent several years in Chicago writing and performing sketch comedy and working as an actress and teaching artist with theater companies in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and New York. In 2019, she co-founded Cayuga Climate Action in Auburn, NY: a group of concerned community members working to educate, advocate, and act on the climate crisis. While there, she cultivated her passions for holistic health and permaculture. Currently, back in Michigan, she works with Garden Juju Collective (www.gardenjujucollective.com): a team of skilled practitioners dedicated to healing places, communities, and people.

Nettle Creek Players Announce 2019 Season
Nettle Creek Players, a 501c3 not-for-profit arts organization in Hagerstown, Indiana, has announced its 2019 troupe of visiting professional theatre artists who will live in the community for nine weeks as they prepare and present the Nettle Creek Players 2019 Summer Stock Tent Theatre Season featuring productions of JOSEPH & THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, GERSHWIN & FRIENDS: A BROADWAY SONGBOOK CABARET, and RUMPELSTILTSKIN, OR THE FAIRIE'S SECRET NAME. Performances of JOESPH will be at 7:30pm on July 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 25, 26 & 27 & 5:00pm on July 7 with GERSHWIN & FRIENDS at 5:00pm on July 14, 21 & 28 and RUMPELSTILTSIKIN at 11:00am on July 20 & 27. All performances will take place in the Nettle Creek Players Show Tent at 150 N. Plum Street in historic downtown Hagerstown, Indiana. Royal Oak's own Water Works Theatre Company will be recognized by the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce with its distinguished Community Spirit Award on Tuesday, October 20. The award will be accepted by Water Works founder and lifetime Royal Oak resident Edward Nahhat, on behalf of the company's scores of volunteers, during the Chamber's annual Royal Oak Community Awards held at the Emagine Theatre / Star Lanes, 200 North Main Street in Royal Oak.
