BIO

Anna was born in Georgia. As a child, she experienced a civil war in her country. The war caused poverty and despair in Georgia. Her family had to go through hard social times. While Anna, was growing up her parents noticed her interest in art and music and they started taking her to the theatre. Since then, she had developed the strong interest in all forms of art.

When she graduated from school, her only dream was to become an artist. She entered undergraduate school at the Georgian University of Theatre and Film. While in school, she actively participated as an actress as well, for the short films. One of the films, where she acted, called “They are coming”, received an award for the “Best Film”, in Italy, at the CinemadaMare festival, in 2010.

In 2013 and 2014, she participated as one of the actors for the traveling theatre project of the independent New York based theatre Dramatic Adventure. In 2013, she traveled in Slovakia with the company to create the play called, “Ako David.” In 2014, she traveled in Ecuador and participated in a play called “La Maldicion de la Tunda.” In 2015- 2018 she studied acting at the world famous Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

In June 2020, over 30 artists from 28 different countries showcased their work in the first Global Forms Theater Festival. Presented by Rattlestick Playwrights Theater and New York Theatre Salon, the festival featured multidisciplinary theatre, panels, and networking events.
