Conceptualized and executive produced by Andy Lynn, this FREE one-day-only streaming event, with its heart in Chicago, stretches from coast to coast featuring artists, educators, streamers and mental health professionals from across the United States. Chicago locals include Echaka Agba, Breon Arzell, Micah Beauvais, Tyler Brown, Darby Fitzsimons, Tyler Gabrielle, Tina El Gamal, Tommy Malouf, Taylor Raye, Shane Richlan, Amaya Thompson, Shalyn Welch, Wanese Zarour, Martin Yousif Zebari and others. Playground Theater to Premiere PERIOD PIECE, Begin. 2/21
The Playground Theater and home-grown comedic talents Lisa Linke (Second City, iO) and Jenni Lamb (Northwestern University MFA: Writing for the Screen and Stage) are pleased to announce PERIOD PIECE, a dark musical-comedy that explores the historical shame of menstruation. PERIOD PIECE will run at The Playground Theater (3209 N Halsted St, Chicago) for six consecutive Fridays starting Feb 21 at 8pm. General admission is $10.
