The Arc Theatre Returns for Shakespeare on the Ridge for 7th Season with AS YOU LIKE IT

The Arc Theatre returns for its 7th year at Shakespeare on the Ridge with the bard's comedy of romantic deceptions, relentless lovers and rambunctious denizens of the Forest of Arden, directed by Artistic Director Mark Boergers* playing July 23rd through August 14th at Ridgeville Park, 908 Seward St., Evanston. ADMISSION IS FREE. The Press Preview is Friday, July 22nd at 7pm.

The Black Ship Co. announces the Chicago premiere of Foreverendia, by Brian Tuttle and directed by The Black Ship Co.'s Artistic Director Nicki Mazzocca, November 28 - December 23, at the Athenaeum Theatre's newly remodeled Studio 2, 2936 North Southport Avenue. Press night is Wednesday, November 28 at 8 p.m. The performance schedule is Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $16 - $24 and are on sale now at www.blackshipco.org or by calling the Athenaeum Theatre box office at 773-935-6875. The Ira Brind School of Theater Arts at the University of the Arts presents George Bernard Shaw's 'Major Barbara' as the second show of its Main Stage series. The production opens its eight-performance run November 13 at 8 p.m. at the University's Arts Bank Theater (601 S. Broad St., Philadelphia).
