BIO
Andrew is a writer, performer, and content creator. Awards/Nominations: 2021 Selection for the Ashland New Plays Festival (Last Drive to Dodge), 2020 Semifinalist for the Ashland New Plays Festival (Riverwood), 2018 4Culture Art Projects Grant recipient, 2018 Gregory Awards People’s Choice Nominee for Outstanding New Play (JOURNEY WEST! The Legend of Lewis & Clark), 2014 Gypsy Rose Lee Award Nominee for Excellence in Performance of a Play as a Supporting Actor.
As a writer, his plays have been workshopped, presented, and produced with companies including: ACT Theatre, Seattle Public Theater, Ashland New Plays Festival, Copious Love Productions, and Radial Theater Project. As a performer, Andrew has been on many major Seattle stages including: Seattle Repertory Theatre, ACT Theatre, Seattle Shakespeare Company, and Seattle Children’s Theatre. As a content creator, under the name "Papadontcreech", he has amassed over 80,000 followers on TikTok, where he is known for his hit series' Breaking News!.

Effective immediately by unanimous board vote, Mitchell will also step down as Board President - where, in a historic first for the organization, in 2021 she became the first Black womxn to lead the board.

A play that tackles some seriously tough and topical subjects affecting underdeveloped neighborhoods and people of color and that contains some wonderful writing and moments but unfortunately lacks focus and a main storyline to carry it all through.
