BIO

ANDREA DALY is a composer, songwriter, and vocalist based in Brooklyn, New York. Her diverse output includes theatre, pop, and classical work. Currently, Daly is crafting book, music, and lyrics for an original new musical, commissioned by Barbara Whitman Productions and Beth Williams, with Grammy-winning collaborator Dominic Fallacaro (co-music/orchestrations). Daly's first musical, Legendale (with bookwriter/lyricist Jeff Bienstock), received its World Premiere in Denmark and American Premiere in Ohio, both in 2017, after appearing in the 2015 NAMT Festival of New Musicals. Daly also freelances as a session vocalist and audio editor. She is a member of Maestra, the Dramatists Guild of America, and a voting member of The Recording Academy. Daly received her PhD in Composition with multiple awards from Stony Brook University in 2014. Her work is published by Concord Thearicals and Warner/Chappell Music. More at www.AndreaDalyMusic.com.
