BIO

Andre Emmanuel Ezeugwu is an Advertising Executive, American actor, and producer. Andre was born in Paterson, New Jersey, and has been developing the craft of acting from a very young age. After being presented the Governor's Award in Arts Education in 2006 for his performances at The Speech and Theatre Association of New Jersey (STANJ) and New Jersey Thespian Festival, Andre Ezeugwu went on to study theater at Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania. After performing notable theatrical roles such as Troy of Fences and Rooftop of Our Lady of 121st Street, to name a few, Andre was nominated for the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) in 2008 and 2010.
It was at this time Andre also founded Ifodige Media, LLC. and charted a remarkable radio media and advertising journey. Working for companies such as Beasley Media Group, Urban One, Hot 97, and Howard University Radio Network. Andre's quest for excellence and unyielding commitment to fostering growth and opportunity, RADIO INK (owned by Streamline Publishing) recognized him as one of "The Future African American Leaders in Radio" in March of 2018, further strengthening his resolve to build a media agency of the future. Andre resides with his wife and children in the New York City Metropolitan Area.

OUR LADY OF 121ST STREET Comes to Nutley Little Theatre

This character-driven, dark comedy revolves around the death of Sister Rose, a nun who was much loved by an uptown neighborhood's residents. As the play begins, we discover that Sister Rose's body has disappeared; the funeral room where the empty casket sits is closed off as a crime scene and the mourners are forced to hang around waiting for news. Due to these extraordinary circumstances, emotions are running especially high.
