BIO

Ana Ortiz-Monasterio Draa is a native Texan from a multicultural family, where she learned Spanish and French. After leaving Texas for seven years in Belgium, she relocated to Chicago…a city she’s grown to love!

She's an ensemble member and writer for Salsation, Chicago's oldest Hispanic sketch group. Last appeared as Margarita in the Jeff nominated production of Zoe Kazan’s After the Blast.

Other Chicago credits include Alta Award nominated Latinish (Salsation Theatre Company) and Vidalogues (Salsation Theatre Company). TV/Film credits include Chicago Med; American Greed; Storm Stories: The Next Generation. Film credits include the award-winning Mrs. Hunter is Dead, a Bay Harbor Mystery;The Funeral; Doors.
