Sammy Jungwirth's ZELDA Announces New Dates and Location for American Premiere Production
The American premiere musical Zelda, produced and directed by 17-year-old Baltimore based theatre artist Sammy Jungwirth has announced its finalized dates and location. The staged concert production will take place on January 20 and 21 at 8pm in the 220 seat Lecture Hall on the CCBC Essex campus under the sponsorship of the Performing Arts at CCBC. Tickets will be available in November and will be general admission.

17-year-old Baltimore-based theatre artist Sammy Jungwirth has acquired the rights to the 2004 West End musical Zelda through special arrangement with its original producer Charles Dobson and will be directing a new scaled down version of the show in the fall of 2022.

The show brings to life the world of Daisy and Violet Hilton, conjoined twins, who became famous stage performers in the 1930s. Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre continues its 45th season with Sister Act, a feel-good comedy based on the Touchstone Pictures motion picture starring Whoopi Goldberg. The musical comedy runs from July 21 through Aug. 6 in the F. Scott Black Theatre at the Robert and Eleanor Romadka College Center at CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Boulevard in Rosedale.
Dundalk Community Theatre to Stage LITTLE WOMEN
Dundalk Community Theatre concludes its season with the musical adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's beloved story Little Women. This Tony Award-nominated musical is not only reflective of American history, but reminds us all how important family is and always has been. The show runs from April 29th to May 8th. The Matinee will have a special Princess Boutique and Prince Knighting event starting at 12:30pm for children, with the characters from the show.
