Tickets are now on sale for the 2023 CAPA Marquee Awards presented by American Electric Power Foundation. The Marquee Awards, modeled after the Tony® Awards, is the culmination of CAPA’s year-long educational program designed to celebrate, support, and advocate for high school musical theatre education throughout central Ohio.
CAPA's Passport to Learning Educational Series Goes Virtual for 2020-21
CAPA is taking it’s Passport to Learning series virtual for the 2020-21 season, offering a variety of online, educational presentations for students K-12. Normally a series of student matinee performances presented at the CAPA venues, the 2020-21 series takes schools and homeschools online for a “virtual field trip” of learning and discovery.

Designed to celebrate, support, and advocate for high school musical theatre education throughout central Ohio, the CAPA Marquee Awards Powered by AEP Foundation invite local high schools to submit a musical theatre production for evaluation in 12 different categories such as Best Actor/Actress, Best Musical Production, Backstage Excellence, Outstanding Student Designer, etc.
CAPA Brings The Jimmy Awards To Central Ohio Through Its New CAPA MARQUEE AWARDS Program
Through the standing of the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) as a sanctioned member of the Broadway League, the Columbus market has been accepted and confirmed as an official Regional Awards Program of The Jimmy Awards/National High School Musical Theatre Awards. CAPA will sponsor the prestigious national program for high school musical theatre students through its own newly created, local awards program-the CAPA Marquee Awards.
VTA Releases Names Of ONE SMALL VOICE Participants
Victoria Theatre Association announces the names of 22 female musicians selected to participate in ONE SMALL VOICE: WOMEN WHO ROCK. ONE SMALL VOICE strives to provide women singers and songwriters, ages 13 and up, with private coaching and recording opportunities that will ultimately give participants the confidence to follow their own music journey as solo artists.

Franaleo Productions today announced that the Off-Broadway premiere of Samuel J. Bernstein and Marguerite Krupp's Olympics Über Alles would extend its limited engagement through October 29th at St. Luke's Theater (308 West 46th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).

Bernstein and Marguerite Krupp's Olympics Über Alles, opening a limited engagement Thursday September 4th at St. Luke's Theater (308 West 46th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). Debra Whitfield directs a cast that features Jim DiMunno Tim Dowd, Michael Engberg, Amy Handra, Darrell Purcell, Joshua Quat, and Stewart A. Schneck. This limited run continues through September 21st only. Olympics Über Alles will have scenic and lighting design by Duane Pagano with costume design by Janice O'Donnell and sound and projections design by Paul Bourgeois. The performance runs two hours including intermission.
