BIO

Amy Decker is a New York City based Musical Theater actress. She was last seen as Maria in Roger and Hammerstein’s Sound of Music at the Allenberry Playhouse. She originated the title role in the Off-off Broadway production of Ophelia at the Wings Theater. Audiences across the country enjoyed her critically acclaimed performance as Betty Blake in the National Tour of The Will Rogers Follies, starring Larry Gatlin. She was honored to play the role of Betty Haynes, originated by the legendary Rosemary Clooney, in the stage version of Irving Berlin’s 1954 holiday classic White Christmas. Regional credits: The Game (Madame de Tourvel), The King and I (Anna), Oklahoma! (Laurey), Steel Magnolias (Shelby), Annie (Grace). Crazy for You (Irene), Guys and Dolls (Sarah), Hello Dolly (Irene) I Do! I Do! (Agnes), A Grand Night for Singing, My Way: A Frank Sinatra Tribute and Songs for a New World (Woman #1) performed at Theater Row here in New York City. Totem Pole Playhouse Adds Extra Seating To Accommodate MAMMA MIA! Opening

Totem Pole Playhouse, America's beloved summer theatre, located in Caledonia State Park between Gettysburg and Chambersburg, PA, has announced that the Playhouse's production of the mega-hit Broadway musical Mamma Mia! set a new box office record for advance ticket sales in the Playhouse's 68-year history. To date, over $280,000.00 in tickets have been sold putting the show on track to surpass last season's box office record-breaking production of Million Dollar Quartet. Due to the high demand for tickets, Totem Pole is reopening the 42-seat Club Section in the rear of the historic theatre which was removed several seasons ago. Mamma Mia! will begin performances this Friday at 8PM and Saturday at 2PM and 8PM with three low cost $20.00 general admission previews followed by the official Opening Sunday afternoon at 2PM. The production is scheduled to run through August 19th, a week longer than the previous three shows in the summer season.

The Charlotte, NC engagement of Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERAbroke the one-week 8 performance box office record at the Belk Theater, grossing $1,424,241 for the week ending February 8, 2015. This tops the previous record of $1,399,577 held by The Lion King in September, 2013. PHANTOM then broke its own record during the second week of their engagement, grossing $1,515,155 for the week ending February 15, 2015. The tour is now in Pittsburgh, PA's Benedum Center playing to near sold-out houses through March 1, 2015.
