Performer and director Nile Harris and playwright, director, and dramaturg Talvin Wilks will join Ping Chong and Company Managing Director Jane Jung and Associate Director Sara Zatz to form the pioneering organization’s new Artistic Leadership Team.

The Ping Chong and Company (PCC) Board of Directors and Staff, as the organization celebrates 50 years of its founder's artistry, today announce a three-year leadership transition plan to support the next generation of interdisciplinary artists and expand the Company's long standing Undesirable Elements community specific program. This new vision is supported by $900,000 from the Mellon Foundation, which has provided lead funding for the $1.5 million transition budget.

Just last night, Tovah Feldshuh hosted the Theatre Development Fund's (TDF) 2014 Gala, which celebrated the 35th season of TDF's Accessibility Programs (TAP). TAP are TDF's services for people with physical disabilities, as well as individuals on the autism spectrum. NVA Takes A Bite Out Of Hollywood In FOUR DOGS AND A BONE, Opens 6/4
New Village Arts (NVA) concludes its 2008-2009 season with Four Dogs and a Bone by award-winning playwright and recent Oscar-nominee John Patrick Shanley. NVA Associate Artistic Director Joshua Everett Johnson directs this brutally hysterical satire of Hollywood. Four Dogs and a Bone runs June 4 through 28 at the New Village Arts Theatre, located at 2787 State Street in Carlsbad Village.
