Gloucester Stage Company continues its 40th Anniversary Season of professional theater with Patrick Barlow's witty mystery play The 39 Steps from July 5 through July 28 at Gloucester Stage Company, 267 East Main Street, Gloucester, MA. This award winning comic thriller adapted for the stage by Patrick Barlow, from the 1915 novel by John Buchan and from the 1935 movie by Alfred Hitchcock, premiered on Broadway in 2008. It's a Life, a New JWT Show Tells Funny and Moving Stories of Death
Death is part of life, and Jewish Women's Theatre (JWT) will perform stories about the many facets of death and how memories, fears, and new understandings can transform grief or relief into thoughts and actions that are positive and healing. It's a Life opens March 9 at The Braid in Santa Monica and travels throughout the state until March 28, in homes, artful venues, synagogues and JCCs.
