Ryan Raftery returns to Joe's Pub with his Titans of Media Trilogy of Female Empowerment. His musicals based on the lives of Anna Wintour, Martha Stewart and Kris Jenner will be performed in repertory. Three divas, three nights in a row for three weeks.

Play On Shakespeare Announces Actors And Directors For PLAY ON!
Play On Shakespeare today announces an expansive list of compelling actors and dynamic directors confirmed to participate in the Play on! Festival, presented in association with Classic Stage Company (CSC) and Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF). Play on! features 39 readings of new, work-in-progress translations of Shakespeare's plays into contemporary modern English by some of today's most exciting playwrights-May 29-June 30 at the Lynn F. Angelson Theater at CSC (136 E. 13th Street). In 2015, Oregon Shakespeare Festival launched an ambitious 39-play, three-year commissioning project, Play on!, tasking 36 playwrights-more than half of whom were women and playwrights of color, each paired with a dramaturg-to translate Shakespeare's canon in celebration of the enduring impact of the Bard's work. Supported by a generous grant from the Hitz Foundation and inspired by long-time patron Dave Hitz's passion for Shakespeare, the project was and continues to be led by Lue Morgan Douthit. 'Drunkle Vanya,' Three Day Hangover's daring adaptation of Chekhov's 'Uncle Vanya,' is extending at Russian Samovar, 256 West 52nd Street, through March 4. The six-character interactive and immersive production, in which the audience literally melts into the furniture of the decadently appointed Tolstoy Lounge, started an 8-week run on November 10, found its footing, and has now added eight more weeks through March 4. Adapted and directed by Lori Wolter Hudson, and produced by Three Day Hangover, with Roman Gambourg, Darren Sussman, and Misha von Shats, 'Drunkle Vanya' will open officially on Friday February 3 at 7:30pm.

Fault Line Theatre will present two world-premiere's in early 2014 - Crystal Finn's THE FAIRE, about the behind the scenes lives of five Renaissance Faire performers in Northern California from February 7 through March 2 at the 4th Street Theatre (83 East 4th Street) in Manhattan; followed by BREATHING TIME by Beau Willimon ("Farragut North" and Netflix's "House of Cards" with Kevin Spacey) from March 21 through April 13 at Teatro Iati (64 East 4th Street) in Manhattan. Both productions will be directed by Fault Line Theatre co-Artistic Director Aaron Rossini.

The Stolen Chair Theatre Company announces extended performances of The Bachelors' Tea Party, a surreal society comedy performed by two actors and four dolls alongside an exquisite 5-course classic tea service, which has been performing to sold out houses every Sunday afternoon at 5pm at Lady Mendl's Tea Salon (56 Irving Place between 17th and 18th Street) since April.
