400 Years in Manhattan, the rollicking 'multimedia monologue' in which New York storyteller Noah Diamond leads the way through four centuries of history, is extending its run in the 2019 United Solo Theatre Festival. After selling out its first two performances, a third has been added, on November 6 at 9:00 pm.

In 400 Years in Manhattan, 'recovering tour guide' Noah Diamond tells the story of the island of Manhattan, accompanied by an expansive multimedia presentation. Diamond, best known for his performance as Groucho Marx in the Off Broadway revival of I'll Say She Is, made his New York debut on a double-decker tour bus. 'That was my day job for years,' he says, 'and I always thought: What I'm really doing here is writing a show.'

United Solo, the world's largest solo theatre festival, is bringing together over 130 shows from all over the world for its tenth anniversary. I'LL SAY SHE IS, the legendary musical comedy that was the Broadway debut of the Marx Brothers, originally opened 92 years ago today -- on May 19, 1924 at the 875-seat Casino Theatre on Broadway at 39th Street. It played for 313 performances before being lost to history. Thanks to Grouch Marx enthusiast Noah Diamond, I'LL SAY SHE IS will return to the stage in a historic new production at The Connelly Theater beginning previews May 28.
