Latino Filmmakers Network to Host Network Event at SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL
The Latino Filmmakers Network will host events during Sundance’s 2022 Film Festival Village, which is now being livestreamed here. The network has been livestreaming events, workshops, and pitching opportunities from January 21st and will continue to do so until the 26th. This year marks the eighth annual Latino Filmmakers Network event.
Multistages Sets Virtual Festival SPEAKOUT: PROTEST PLAYS AND MORE
MultiStages will present 'SPEAKOUT: Protest Plays & More,' a virtual festival of multidisciplinary commissioned works, live on June 21 and recorded from June 22 to 25. Conceived and directed by Artistic Director/activist Lorca Peress, the program is a 90 minute turntable of short plays, dance works and poetry exploring the essence of protest and activism in the modern period since the killing of George Floyd.

Las Vegas Film Festival Announces Short Films, Labs, Programming, Shorts Jury
The 12th Annual Las Vegas Film Festival, presented by Zappos, today announces additional programming - including shorts, labs and special screenings. Additionally, the schedule of screenings and events is now available online at www.lvff.com/schedule/. The 2019 Festival will be held April 28 through May 5 around Downtown Las Vegas, as well as the Brenden Theatres and Palms Casino Resort.
Dreamcatcher Presents CONTINUING THE CONVERSATION: AN EVENING OF SHORT PLAYS
Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre, professional theatre in residence at Oakes Center in Summit, is producing the World Premiere of Continuing the Conversation: An Evening of Short Plays Inspired by Current Events. The plays, by writers Suzanne Bradbeer, Richard Dresser, Steve Harper, Dania Ramos, Lia Romeo and David Lee White, all deal with themes that are in the public consciousness right now. Dreamcatcher has taken what was a one-night event last season and given it a place on the mainstage this spring. Continuing the Conversation runs April 26 - May 13, 2018.
17th Annual Newport Beach Film Festival Announces Award Winners
The Newport Beach Film Festival (NBFF) announced today the winners of the 2016 Festival. On April 28, 2016, the Festival wrapped up its eight day run with the Southern California premiere of The Fixer starring Dominic Rains, James Franco, Rachel Brosnahan and Melissa Leo at Lido Live (3459 Via Lido, Newport Beach) with the post party in the Via Lido Plaza.
Zoe Caldwell, Jordan Charney & More Set for THE MUTILATED Talkback, 11/23
Following a November 10th opening that was met with positive reviews, the producers of the current revival of The Mutilated by Tennessee Williams have added a post show discussion with cast members associated with the original 1966 Broadway production, where in ran with The Gnadiges Fraulein under the collective title Slapstick Tragedy. Four-time Tony winner Zoe Caldwell (Polly in The Gnadiges Fraulein, her first Tony award), Jordan Charney (Cop in The Mutilated) and Art Ostrin (Bernie understudy in The Mutilated, Cocaloony Bird in The Gnadiges Fraulein) will join Mink Stole, Penny Arcade and director Cosmin Chivu in a free talk following the November 23 at 3pm performance. The panel is moderated by Tennessee Williams editor Thomas Keith.
