Amanda Quaid is an accomplished actress with a diverse career in theater, film, and television. Born in Los Angeles, California, Quaid grew up in a family of actors, including her father Randy Quaid and her uncle Dennis Quaid.
Quaid attended Vassar College and later earned her MFA in Acting from the University of California, San Diego. She began her career in theater, performing in numerous productions on and off-Broadway. Some of her notable stage credits include "Equus" at the John Drew Theater, "Cock" at the Duke on 42nd Street, and "Pericles" at the Public Theater.
In addition to her work on stage, Quaid has also made a name for herself in film and television. She has appeared in several independent films, including "The Happy Sad," "The Breakup Girl," and "The Lennon Report." On television, Quaid has had guest roles on shows such as "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "Elementary," and "The Good Wife."
Quaid has also worked in the music industry, performing in the off-Broadway production of "The Lysistrata Jones" and the national tour of "Avenue Q." In 2012, she released her debut EP, "Home."
