BIO
Amanda graduated from Base23, ‘Stockholm Musical Education’ in Sweden in 2015. Her recent credits include Cover Liat and Ensemble in South Pacific (Chichester Festival Theatre); Ensemble in Cabaret (Gothenburg Opera House, Sweden). Other stage credits include: Cover Tuptim and Ensemble in The King and I (U.K. and International Tour); Cover Gigi and Ensemble in Miss Saigon (U.K. and International Tour); Ensemble in We Will Rock You (Royal Arena Copenhagen, Denmark); Ensemble in Spring Awakening (Stockholm City Theatre, Sweden). Amanda had a leading role in the TV-gala for the 70th birthday of Queen Silvia of Sweden and has participated in several TV-shows and commercials in Sweden. This is Amanda's West End debut and she is thrilled to be one of the Queens in SIX.

The National Theatre's new musical Hex returns to the Olivier theatre for Christmas, after its original 2021 opening was delayed due to covid. The full company performing in this new production is announced before starting rehearsals at the NT on Monday 3 October.

Worldwide hit musical SIX celebrated 1,000 performances in the West End last night with a special gala at the Vaudeville Theatre. Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, who created the show, joined the Queens on stage to take a 1000th anniversary selfie of the cast and audience.

Following the news that Gina Beck is pregnant, Chichester Festival Theatre has announced that in the forthcoming production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's South Pacific, she will rehearse and open the role of Nellie Forbush as planned with performances from 5 July and a press night on 13 July. From 5 August, Alex Young will share the role of Nellie and take over full-time from 23 August for the remainder of the run.

Cameron Mackintosh today announced that from Monday 30 April Elana Martin will play 'Ellen' and Aicelle Santos will play 'Gigi' in the current UK tour of his acclaimed production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical MISS SAIGON. They join Red Concepcion as 'The Engineer', Sooha Kim as 'Kim', Ashley Gilmour as 'Chris', Ryan O'Gorman as 'John' and Gerald Santos as 'Thuy'. At certain performances 'The Engineer' is played by Christian Rey Marbella, and 'Kim' is played by Joreen Bautista.
