BIO
Amanda recently relocated from New York City to California for the extra vitamin D. After graduating with a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts (ETW), she went on to study acting at Columbia University and received her MFA there. NY Theater credits include: MONODRAMAS directed by Michael Counts (New York City Opera); Juliet, Romeo & Juliet (Classic Stage Company); Freia/Sieglinde, The Ring Cycle (PL115 / Incubator Arts Project); Mary Warren, The Crucible (dir. Kate Whoriskey); estro jen, Love in the Time of Channukah (ANT Fest at Ars Nova); Queenie, The Wild Party (Columbia Stages).

The longest-running Annual Solo Festival for women in Los Angeles, LAWTF will take place March 24- March 27, 2022. The Festival will be presented virtually again this year. The overall theme of the Festival is Beyond Boundaries.

Inspired by her personal Instagram experiment, Mandy Picks a Husband is the hilariously dark and witty dating traumedy from seasoned New York theatre actress and stand-up comic, Amanda Broomell. Following acclaim at the 2019 Hollywood and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, this satirical exposé comes to London to reveal the highs and hurdles of falling in love.

Acting class in a Columbia Stages production of Geoffrey Chaucer's THE CANTERBURY TALES, a new adaptation by Ken Kaissar, directed by Yuriy Kordonskiy, running November 13 - 22 at The Riverside Theatre, located in the historic Riverside Church at 91 Claremont Avenue between 120th and 122nd Streets.
