Amanda recently worked in Ithaca, NY as Costume Designer for Peter and the Starcatcher at the Kitchen Theatre Company where she has also designed I and You by Lauren Gunderson, Sunset Baby by Dominique Morisseau and Seminar by Theresa Rebeck. In the past she was the Kitchen Theatre's 2013-2014 season Stage Management/Production Intern. During that season she was ASM for Slashes of Light by Judy Tate (World Premiere), Seminar by Theresa Rebeck (Regional Premiere), Lungs by Duncan MacMillan, Cock by Mike Bartlett, Venus in Fur by David Ives, Black Pearl Sings by Frank Higgins, From White Plains by Michael Perlman and Heroes by Gérald Sibleyras translated by Tom Stoppard. For each production Amanda has received Equity Membership Candidate Points as well. At the Kitchen, Amanda has also worked as both a dresser and costume assistant for the productions. She hopes to further her career in Costume Design.

Corrib Theatre has announced its first production of the classic play WAITING FOR GODOT by Samuel Beckett, running November 29-Dec 15, 2024. The cast includes Roo Welsh as Vladimir, Karl Hanover as Estragon, Jonathan Cullen as Pozzo, Doren Elias as Lucky, and Max O'Hare as The Boy.

Kitchen Theatre Company's experimental Kitchen Sink Series is bringing a new play by young playwright Louisa Hill to the Kitchen stage. The Lord Of The Underworld's Home For Unwed Mothers is a modern re-telling of the Demeter and Persephone myth set in the 1960s and 1990s, exploring the politics of motherhood. When Dee meets the daughter she was forced to give up 25 years ago, the reunion is less than ideal. To show her Death Metal enthusiast daughter, Corie, that she wasn't given up out of selfishness, Dee must return to her teenage memories of Catholic, middle-class life in the 1960s to explain how the choice was never hers to make. But the despondent Corie, whose turbulent childhood consisted of being shipped from one foster home to the next, has a secret of her own. A tale of love, loss, and some heavy metal, running for two nights only, this weekend, May 16 and 17 at 4pm.
