Richard Walter Unveils New Duet 'Lost In Your Light' Ft. Lydia Oliver
With all tracks performed and written by Richard Walters, ‘Murmurate’ was recorded, produced and mixed by Eliot James, before receiving its final mastering by Dyre Gormsen. Amongst the myriad instruments performed by the pair, listeners will also be able to detect Eliot’s 11 year old son Leland James on cello, plus guest vocalist Lydia Oliver.

French Institute Alliance Francaise Presents SUMMER OF MICHEL LEGRAND
The French Institute Alliance Fran aise (FIAF) honors the great French composer Michel Legrand, who died in January this year, with a special Cin Salon series devoted to his life and work. Curated by one of his longtime collaborators and greatest interpreters, singer and actress Melissa Errico, Summer of Michel Legrand brings together seven of his films from his best known triumphs such as The Umbrellas of Cherbourg and The Young Girls of Rochefort to lesser known gems such as the enchanting fairy-tale musical Donkey Skin. Screenings take place on Tuesdays in July at 4pm and 7:30pm in FIAF's Florence Gould Hall.

Lightning Seeds Announce 25th Anniversary Reissue of Jollification
To celebrate its twenty five year anniversary, Lightning Seeds are reissuing their seminal album Jollification, out September 6th via Sony Music. The 1994 LP, which would go on to sell 900,000 copies, was the Liverpudlian outfit's third album and spawned the singles 'Lucky You', 'Marvellous', 'Change' and 'Perfect'. To coincide with the re-release of the platinum record, Lightning Seeds will be performing Jollification in its entirety and in a way that it has never been performed live before, with the atmosphere and instrumentation of the original album very much to the fore. There will also be a Greatest Hits set, including 'Pure', 'Life of Riley', 'Sugar Coated Iceberg' and many of the other stand-out and most well-known tracks of their career. The shows will take place at the London Palladium on November 7th and the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on November 27th.
