Training: Born in Grimsby, Alison started dancing at the age of three at the Pat Yarborough Theatre Dance School and at 13 gained a place at Elmhurst Ballet School. She went on to the Royal Ballet Upper School to complete her training. During her time there she went on tour with the Birmingham Royal Ballet Company, appearing in performances of Swan Lake and Choreartium.
Dance includes: After graduating, Alison joined London City Ballet, dancing roles in Cinderella, Swan Lake, Les Patineurs, Donizetti, Giacossa and Sleeping Beauty, and had a role created for her in Man with a Moustache, which was choreographed by Mark Baldwin. She has also danced with the English National Ballet Company, appearing in Derek Deane’s production of Swan Lake at the Royal Albert Hall and also touring Australia and the UK.
