BIO

Alexandra Mazzucchelli is a native New Yorker and proud member of Actor’s Equity. She is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she holds a BFA in Drama. Alex received her training at NYU Tisch from the The New Studio on Broadway for Music Theatre and The Stonestreet TV & Film Studio. Some of her performance highlights over the years include singing at The Ronald McDonald House Gala hosted by Barbara Walters and performing alongside the NY Pops Orchestra at Carnegie Hall. Additional performances have been at The Cutting Room, The Bitter End, The Skirball Theatre, The Egg, The Abe Burrows Theatre and The Historic New York Friar's Club.

Upon graduating from NYU, she has worked under the direction of Broadway Directors Ray Roderick, Lynne Taylor Corbett and Sonia Blangiardo; along with Broadway choreographers Mimi Quillen and Stephanie Klemons. In that time, she joined the cast of the Off-Broadway comedy, My Big Gay Italian Wedding.

Alex has been featured in several network television commercials and modeled for brands such as Seventeen Magazine, JC Penney, Birchbox and Benefit Cosmetics.

Next up, Alex will play Maria Montessori in the new musical workshop, La Dottoressa, written by Emmy award winning composer, Matty Selman.

The Ludlow House presented Songs of the Serpent: Introducing songs from Medusa, a New Pop Opera on October 27th. The evening was directed by Rachel Klein and music directed by Dan Pardo featuring songs written by composer David James Boyd and lyricist Erik Ransom, with creative production by Chad Kessler.

Deaf And Hearing Broadway Vets Reunite For Presentation Of New Musical STEPCHILD

A recipient of DCA's inaugural CreateNYC Disability Forward Fund, IRT Theater will present six work in progress presentations of the new musical, Stepchild. This fully accessible piece is a radical retelling of Cinderella, seen through the eyes of a young Deaf woman coming of age in a kingdom violently intolerant of difference. All presentations will take place at IRT's Greenwich Village home from May 29- June 2, 2019.
