BIO
Alexander Payne is one of America’s most esteemed writer/directors. He is known for his films ‘Citizen Ruth,’ ‘Election,’ ‘Sideways,’ ‘The Descendants,’ and ‘Nebraska.’ He is a two-time winner of the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, and a three-time nominee of the Academy Award for Best Director. In 1995, Payne’s film ‘Sideways’ won the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture.

Following Imelda Staunton's recent statements about a third Downton Abbey film, it has been confirmed that another installment in the franchise is indeed happening. FRIGID New York will present the 10th Annual Gotham Storytelling Festival at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery), November 2-14. Performances will also be available to livestream from home. Tickets are available on a sliding scale ($20 in-person; $15 online, suggested) and are available for advance purchase.
