Alexander Hogg

Alexander Hogg is an English actor who is from the West Midlands.

He has worked mainly in theatre and is about to train at Chichester Conservatoire, gaining a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre (Triple Threat).

Perhaps most notably, Alex appeared as the principal character, Ollie and Child Gordon Shakespeare in Nativity! The Musical from 2017 - 2019 on a UK Tour. During the original 2017 production, he also played Rupert when not performing as Ollie. His successful stint in the show then led on to him working with the show's creator and director, Debbie Isitt, again in the fourth film in her Nativity! series - Nativity Rocks! as a lead St Bernadette's pupil named Alex after the actor.

He has also appeared in commercials for global brands such as AXA Insurance playing a Bullied Boy in their #KnowYouCan Ad campaign - filmed at the height of the coronavirus lockdown in Belgium and Lidl UK playing a Cricket Umpire in their Big On British and Big On A British Summer adverts in 2022 and '23 respectively. Alex's work on screen also includes performing on Sam & Mark's Big Christmas Wind-Up for CBBC.
