Alpha Omega Celebrates 50th Anniversary Season with ONCE UPON EL BARRIO
Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company, founded in 1972, celebrates its 50th Anniversary with the premiere of Once Upon El Barrio, conceived and choreographed by Enrique Cruz DeJesus, Artistic Director since 1998. Inspiration for his new work has come from the writings of Piri Thomas, poet and author of Seven Long Times, and Savior, Savior, Hold My Hand, and the best-selling autobiography Down These Mean Streets.
Merce Cunningham Endowed Scholarship In Dance Announced
The Merce Cunningham Trust, on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of Cunningham's birth, has announced the Merce Cunningham Endowed Scholarship in Dance at Purchase College, SUNY, continuing the Trust's robust efforts to support the future of the dance field and the artists and administrators who will envision and realize it.

Producer Jeffrey Seller is proud to announce that AUSTIN SCOTT and NICHOLAS CHRISTOPHER will join the First National Tour of HAMILTON as Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr, respectively. Mr. Scott's credits include the Off-Broadway cast of One Day. Mr. Christopher is currently playing John in the Broadway revival of Miss Saigon and played George Washington in HAMILTON on Broadway.

Davis Gaines Will Play Joseph Pulitzer in NEWSIES at the Muny
The Muny announced today that Davis Gaines will play the role of Joseph Pulitzer, rounding out the principal cast for Newsies, the seventh and final production of its 99th season. Design teams were also announced for this production, which plays August 7- 13. Newsies is proudly sponsored by BMO Harris Bank.
