Classical Music Chicago spreads the beauty of music in multiple series, including the one-day fete of the musician within us all. Begun in summer 2011, Make Music Chicago is a citywide DIY music festival that invites and draws together people throughout the community in a celebration of music making, no holds barred. Age, ability, professional or amateur, preferred musical style or genre are not of import - all that matters is a love for music and musicmaking.

(Dickens began writing the Mystery of Edwin Drood in 1870 but died the same year).
Music Mountain Theatre Opens THE DROWSY CHAPERONE
Music Mountain Theatre continues its 2021 season with The Drowsy Chaperone opening on September 10th. The show will run for three weekends with a total of twelve performances, closing on September 26th.
Tippet Rise Announces Four-Day Digital Summer Festival Featuring 7 New Short Films
Tippet Rise Art Center today announced the details of its digital summer event Tippet Rise on Tour: August Festival, which will premiere seven short performance films between August 19 and 22. The new films feature classical music performances captured at unusual locations across the country, from a tractor barn in Colorado and Ensamble Studio's Cyclopean House in Massachusetts to the Noguchi Museum in New York City.
Music Mountain Theatre Opens Fall Season With DRACULA
Music Mountain Theatre will reopen on October 16th for the Fall Season with Dracula. There will be several viewing options following guidelines and protocols with safety and comfort in mind. The Theatre will be open indoors to allow 50 patrons socially distanced for each production. Friday night productions will be streamed live from the stage for 'drive in' viewing for 20 vehicles in the parking lot. Every production will also be available for virtual viewing at home.
Bergen County Players Presents CHURCH & STATE
Bergen County Players (BCP) continues its 86th season with Church & State written by Jason Odell Williams and directed by Carol Fisher. Church & State runs January 12th through February 2nd with curtain at 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 pm on Sundays. BCP's popular Questions & Artists talkback session will be held following the performance on Friday, January 18th. You can also meet the playwright, Jason Odell Williams, during our Talkback following the performance on Saturday, January 19th. All performances will take place at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell.
