BIO
Alex is a New York City based performer. Originally from North Carolina, she worked in film and television as a child. Young Alex can be see in commercials for Target, Rooms-To-Go Kids Furniture, and NASCAR. She also played the lead role of Princess Zulie in "Barney: The Land of Make Believe" and is the face of Laylie on the cover of "Laylie's Daring Quest", part of the Life of Faith book series.
After discovering a love for live performance, Alex studied Drama at the North Carolina School of the Arts where she recieved her High School Diploma. She went on to recieve her BFA in Musical Theatre and Minor in Dance from a North Carolina University.
Alex spent a lot of time at sea on various contracts with Norwegian Cruise Line, performing in productions including Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (Diva 1), Legally Blonde the Musical (Pilar), Burn the Floor (Principle Female Vocalist), and Vegas the Show! (Principle Vocalist). She has performed regionally in productions including West Side Story (Francisca) at North Shore Music Theatre and Hairspray (Dynamite) at Flat Rock Playhouse.
In 2018 Alex toured the US and Canada, beginning as a Swing and later transitioning into the roles of Florence Ballard and Suzanne dePasse in Motown the Musical. Later that year she made her Broadway debut in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical as Janelle Woods.
Alex is a proud member of the Actor's Equity Association.
