Casting Announced For Famous Courtroom Drama A FEW GOOD MEN In St. Jacobs
Can audiences 'handle the truth?' That is the pivotal question at the centre of the famed legal drama A Few Good Men, which opens the highly-anticipated 2020 Season at the St. Jacobs Country Playhouse. The hit play about military corruption and the quest for justice will be on stage for three weeks only from March 4 to March 22.
Grand Theatre Presents Timothy Findley's THE WARS
Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, the Grand Theatre will honour the sacrifices of our soldiers past and present with the Governor General Award-winning story, TIMOTHY FINDLEY'S THE WARS based on the book of the same name by one of Canada's most distinguished authors. Adapted and directed by Grand Theatre Artistic Director, Dennis Garnhum, TIMOTHY FINDLEY'S THE WARS launches the 18/19 season on the Spriet Stage, running from October 23 to November 11, Remembrance Day. Artistic Director Dennis Garnhum has announced principal casting for the 2018/19 season including Seana McKenna as Penelope in MARGARET ATWOOD'S THE PENELOPIAD, Jan Alexandra Smith as Scrooge in this season's gender-flipping A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Nigel Shawn Williams as Troy Maxson and E.B. Smith as Jim Bono in AUGUST WILSON'S FENCES, and Alex Furber as Robert Ross in TIMOTHY FINDLEY'S THE WARS.

The Grand Theatre is thrilled to announce an extraordinary line-up of local and national, returning and debuting artists in the 2017/18 Season. The season features a stunning artistic presence including Tara Rosling, Benedict Campbell, Catherine Joell MacKinnon and Daniel Williston. In addition, the Grand welcomes nationally and internationally renowned directors including Peter Hinton, Tracey Flye, Carey Perloff, and the Grand's Artistic Director Dennis Garnhum, who makes his Grand directing debut in his first season. Hocus Pocus: A Live, Satirical Reading of the Cult Classic to be Staged at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre
Total Betty Productions and Random Hero Entertainment are pleased to present Hocus Pocus - A live, satirical reading of the cult classic. Monday, October 26th at 8pm at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre. Set in Salem, Massachusetts on Halloween night, virgin Max Dennison, sister Dani, and new friend Allison, accidentally free a coven of evil witches. With the help of a talking cat, the kids must steal the witches' book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal. Hocus Pocus premiered in 1993 to lackluster reviews, but since then has grown a steady reputation as a cult classic film.
