BIO

Dublin born and bred, Alan studied Musical Theatre at Laine Theatre Arts and Speech & Drama at Trinity College, both in London. He has lived in Zurich, Vienna, Stuttgart and Berlin, but moved to New York after winning a Green Card in the lottery (YUP!), a place he now calls home. After studying improv at UCB, Screenwriting at Gotham Writers and five short years later, he became a US citizen. He love dogs and is in a love/hate relationship with CitiBike. He hopes to one day own his own. A dog that is, not a bike.

The extraordinary journey of the Broadway revival of PIPPIN began at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge a few years back, and now that triumphant Tony Award-winning musical, directed by Diane Paulus, is back in Boston via the national tour. While some tweaks have since been made to the production that had its Broadway tryout at the A.R.T., the show's exuberant joie de vivre and circus-inspired excitement are still intact.
