El Laboratorio Arte Alameda (LAA) celebró el Día Internacional de la Lengua Materna con el Encuentro y activación sonora 2. Escuchas situadas. Escuchas en conflicto, trabajo realizado entre cinco colectivos artísticos hablantes de lenguas indígenas, como parte de la exposición Modos de oír: prácticas de arte y sonido en México.

El 60 por ciento de las lenguas indígenas mexicanas están en riesgo de desaparecer. En la actualidad, en nuestro país existen 68 diferentes y ocho millones de hablantes. Del año 1990 al 2015, el porcentaje de personas que hablan una lengua pasó del 7.6 por ciento al 6.5 por ciento.

BWW Reviews: Dali Does Disney in Flying V's Inventive, Surreal LOBSTER ALICE
Director Amber Jackson has assembled a brilliant cast, creating an anarchic and, yes, surreal atmosphere in which anything and everything can happen. Zachary Fernebok's performance of Dali is priceless, and Jos. B. Musumeci Jr.'s set is a perfect evocation of the surreal atmosphere of Obolensky's play.
