ALAN DEMOVSKY (Director). Alan was the “go to” person for Mr. Robert Osborne of Turner Classic Movies in his lecture series as Film Historian at venues throughout the US. He also directed readings for the New York Chapter of the Emmy Awards in their ongoing program to encourage new playwrights. Alan is the recipient of the Westchester Theater Awards as best director for La Cage Aux Folles. Directing: The Cemetery Club, The Gift of Love, Angels in America (Millennium Approaches and Perestroika), Minnie’s Boys, The Sunshine Boys, Ballroom, The Laramie Project, A View from the Bridge, Murder at The Vicarage, I Do, I Do, Whose Afraid if Virginia Woolfe, Take Me Out, Glengarry Glen Ross, Twelfth Night, La Cage Aux Folles, The Little Foxes and Death of a Salesman. Recently Alan Directed Clifford Odets’ Awake and Sing. For BCP he directed Clybourne Park and Cabaret in Oradell, New Jersey as well as a workshop production of Grey Gardens. Alan has directed an original opera of The Dybbuk at Riverspace in Nyack."
