BWW Reviews: I AM HARVEY MILK a Hit With Combined Chorus of St. Louis and Kansas City
The Heartland Men's Chorus and the Gateway Men's Chorus from St. Louis, Mo. united on Friday night March 29 at the Folly Theater in Kansas City, Mo. The combined chorus presented I Am Harvey Milk, with words and music by Andrew Lippa. The production brought together three guest conductors, Dustin Stephen Cates, Al Fischer the Artistic Director for the Gateway Men's Chorus, and Dr. Tim Seelig the Artistic Director of the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus.

The Muny's Les Miserables opened last night, July 15. The fifth show of The Muny's fantastic 95th Season is directed by Richard Jay-Alexander. Last seen at The Muny in 2007, LES MISERABLES has been one of the most popular musicals since it opened in London in 1985. BWW Reviews: Ken Haller's Delightful Cabaret - THE TV SHOW!
Ken Haller's latest cabaret foray, "THE TV SHOW!" is a sheer delight, reveling in tunes that a lot of us grew up with emanating from the boob tube. It's an interesting approach, and Haller doesn't stick to just singing TV themes, but mixes in commercials, as well as tunes that were written for other mediums that reference the world of the cathode ray. All in all, it's a pleasant trip down memory lane with some familiar (and some less so) tunes that have permeated popular culture.
