Tonight, BCRF held its first-ever Virtual Hot Pink Evening, taking their renowned Hot Pink Party to a new virtual format with a very special live-stream viewing experience. The unforgettable evening raised over $5.2 million to support BCRF's global legion of leading scientists pursuing high-impact breast cancer research that is saving lives, even in the midst of the current global crisis. Breast cancer does not stop for COVID-19, and neither will BCRF, thanks to the generous support of donors who are helping ensure that the organization's vital work will continue without losing ground.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) paid tribute to the winners and honorees of the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards in collaboration with Swarovski at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. Film director and screenwriter John Waters was the host for the evening. For the thirteenth year in a row, the evening was generously underwritten by Swarovski.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art announced their next Costume Institue spring exhibit will focus on Charles James, an American couturier. 'Charles James: Beyond Fashion' will center on James' extensive body of work and will be on display from May 8th to August 10th.

Campbell, Director and CEO of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, announced today that the inaugural exhibition of the newly renovated Costume Institute in spring 2014 will examine the career of legendary 20th-century Anglo-American couturier Charles James (1906–1978). Charles James: Beyond Fashion, on view from May 8 through August 10, 2014 (preceded on May 5 by The Costume Institute Benefit), will be presented in two locations–The Costume Institute's new galleries as well as special exhibitions galleries on the Museum's first floor. The exhibition will explore James's design process and his use of sculptural, scientific, and mathematical approaches to construct revolutionary ball gowns and innovative tailoring that continue to influence designers today.
Sir Elton John Confirmed to Perform at The Breast Cancer Research Foundation Annual Hot Pink Party
On Wednesday, April 17, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation will host its annual Hot Pink Party at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. This year's event, themed ¡Viva Fiesta!, will feature a performance by Multi-Grammy Award-winning artist Sir Elton John. The always sold-out affair will pay special tribute to Kay Krill, President and CEO of ANN INC., as she receives BCRF's Sandra Taub Humanitarian Award, presented by award-winning actress and ambassador of Ann Taylor's spring and summer 2013 campaigns, Kate Hudson. Joining the evening's festivities will be actress and supermodel Elizabeth Hurley, as well as co-chairs Donna Karan, Michael Kors, William Lauder, and Vera Wang, among others. The Foundation hopes to top last year's record-setting goal of more than $5 million in funds raised to support life-saving breast cancer research.
