Prospect Theater Company Announces Cast of WORLD VIEWS

Prospect Theater Company, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Cara Reichel and Managing Director Melissa Huber, has announced the cast for WORLD VIEWS, a collection of new mini-musicals in concert, the culmination of Prospect's 2017 Musical Theater Lab. WORLD VIEWS, the company's 11th lab performance, will be presented on July 8, 2017 at 8pm at The TimesCenter.

Prospect Theater Company (Cara Reichel, Producing Artistic Director / Melissa Huber, Managing Director) will present a new actor-musician workshop staging of Illyria on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 4pm and Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 7pm. Illyria features book, music, and lyrics by Peter Mills and is adapted from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night by Mills and Reichel.

Last night, Broadway legend Andre De Shields celebrated the opening night of B-Side Productions' The Wild Party, Michael John LaChiusa and George C. Wolfe's 2000 Broadway musical, helmed by Associate Artistic Director Billy Bustamante, featuring music direction by Addison Frei, at the TBG Theatre in New York. The full cast has been announced for B-Side Productions' return of Michael John LaChiusa and George C. Wolfe's 2000 Broadway musical The Wild Party that will begin performances September 6th at the TBG Theatre for a run through September 17th.

Adam Jacobs, Don Darryl Rivera, and Joshua Dela Cruz, current cast members of the Broadway smash musical Disney's ALADDIN, are joining the cast of Broadway Barkada's tribute concert to Tony Award-winning songwriting team of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty titled 'Make Them Hear You: The Songs of Ahrens & Flaherty' on Sunday, July 24, 7 p.m. at the Cutting Room (44 East 32nd St., between Park and Madison).

Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma presents one of the greatest musicals of all time, LES MISERABLES. This original production features the performances of Chuck Wagner, Danny Rothman, Victoria Huston-Elem, Tommy Cunningham, Julie Johnson, and Dallas Lish, leading a company of over 100 voices. The bold design features a new, four story set designed by Michael Raiford and over 400 costumes designed by Oklahoman Jeffrey Meek. The production runs June 24 through 28 at the Civic Center Music Hall, and is the first of Lyric's four summer shows. Check out a first look below!
