Live Arts Homecoming Benefit Welcomes Back Actor Adelind Horan, March 25
Live Arts welcomes back Adelind Horan, star of the newly released Amazon Prime science fiction series, 'The Peripheral,' for a benefit performance on Saturday, March 25 in Live Arts' Gibson Theater. The evening opens with a homecoming pre-show reception at 7pm, followed by a multicast showcase of talent at 8pm.
BAUDELAIRE IN A BOX Grand Finale Coming this Summer
Theater Oobleck's "Baudelaire in a Box" project, a seven-year adaptation of Charles Baudelaire's scandalous 19th-century classic "Les Fleurs du mal (The Flowers of Evil)" as an epic illustrated song cycle, culminates this summer with "Closed Casket: The Complete, Final and Absolutely Last Baudelaire in a Box." The 15-hour festival presentation of the complete cycle is timed to coincide with the 150th anniversary of Baudelaire's death. "Closed Casket" will be presented Aug. 4 to 6 at Links Hall at Constellation, 3111 N. Western Avenue in Chicago.
Palm Beach Dramaworks Presents THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN by Martin McDonagh
Dreams are in short supply on the desolate island of Inishmaan, particularly for the sensitive, physically challenged Billy Claven in Martin McDonagh's The Cripple of Inishmaan. So when word arrives that an American filmmaker is coming to the neighboring island of Inishmore to make a motion picture, Billy goes after a part in the movie, hoping for a trip to Hollywood and escape from the cruelty and bleakness that engulf him. McDonagh's darkly comic work opens at Palm Beach Dramaworks on May19 and continues through June 4, with specially priced previews on May 17 and 18.
THE PIONEERS Comedy Web Series Debuts 2nd Season
Announcing the release of the 2nd season of the comedy series, THE PIONEERS! Eight episodes are out online as of August 10th. Joel Schumacher to Helm NEIGHBORHOOD 3 at The Flea
The Flea Theater presents the New York premiere of Jennifer Haley's NEIGHBORHOOD 3: REQUISITION OF DOOM, directed by Joel Schumacher (Batman Forever, The Client, The Lost Boys) and featuring members of The Bats, the Flea's resident acting company. Previews begin November 9, with opening night slated for Monday, November 16. Says Artistic Director Niegel Smith, "Jennifer Haley's insightful play exposes the chasms within a community consumed by violent video games. It's particularly exciting that The Bats will be guided in this production by the singular vision of Joel Schumacher."
THE OLD MASTERS Begins at The Flea Next Month
The Flea will present the New York Premiere of THE OLD MASTERS. After a run at the First Look Repertory of New Work at Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago, Sam Marks' dark examination of marriage comes to The Flea. It will be directed by Resident Director Brandon Stock. Previews begin May 27 with opening night set for June 7.

Gallery Players Open EQUUS Tonight
Boasting a magnificent slate of actors and highly original design, Gallery's Equus is stampeding on stage tonight, December 7th. Developing a reputation for high-production value among black box theatres, the story of Alan Strang, the boy who has explosively blinded six horses, sets a new standard. Equus is quite a part of the New Gallery, not your same old theatre.
Gallery Players to Stage EQUUS, 12/7-22
Riding the successes of Blithe Spirit and The Pajama Game, the Gallery Players presents Equus as the next production of its 47th Season. Alred Gingold* (Manhattan Theatre Club, Metropolitan Playhouse), leads the cast in the behemoth role of Martin Dysart. Joining him are Dean Thomas and Adelind Horan as Alan Strang and Jill Mason, respectively, in their Gallery premieres. Gallery alumni Rosalind Ashford* (Gallery: History Boys) and Greg Horton* (Gallery: A Man of No Importance; NYIT 2012 Outstanding Actor in a Lead Role) will appear once again as Dora and Frank Strang. After leading The History Boys to success last season, Mark Gallagher will again direct aided by Choreographer Christiana Axlesen. The production will be brought to life under Set Designer Young Jaung, Costume Designer Tony Johnson, Lighting Designer Scott Borowka, Sound Designer Jacob Subotnick, Props Designer Sara Slagle, and Production Stage Manager Kathleen Parker. The cast includes J.B.
