BIO
Adam Podd is an active freelance musician whose work and play is based in and around New York City. He performs as a pianist/keyboardist with various artists, ensembles, and organizations. Adam is also heavily involved in the NYC theatre community as a composer, arranger and music-director. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the Hartt School of Music where he studied classical and jazz piano, orchestration, arranging, and music production.

The concert-which honors rock giants including Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and others-features three-time "Las Vegas Headliner of the Year" winner Frankie Moreno who is joined by vocalists, dancers, and a rocking band for this performance. Mr. Moreno last appeared at Carnegie Hall with The New York Pops and Mr. Reineke in 2015, performing the music of Frank Sinatra.

While it would be easy to exit the York Theatre these days having been absolutely swept away by Mark Sonnenblick's wonderfully engaging and ear-tingling score for his new musical, MIDNIGHT AT THE NEVER GET - a sumptuous collection mixing beautiful melodies framing lyrical poetics with jaunty numbers loaded with snazzy jokes and unexpected rhymes - it's the superb storytelling of his book, exploring issues of the 1960s gays rights movement in a universal manner that can apply to other civil rights battles, that makes the musical truly soar.
