BIO
Abdiel Vivancos is an American stage and screen actor. An alumnus of New World School of the Arts and French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts, Vivancos trained with Carnegie Mellon's School of Drama as a Music Theatre major and Andrew Carnegie scholar. A member of Actors’ Equity since 2011, he thoroughly enjoys contributing to the creative process of new work, facilitating mindfulness workshops for performing artists, and nurturing communities through artistic engagement.
Vivancos has performed in world premiere productions of new plays, new musicals, short films, web series, cabarets, and immersive performance art. He has most notably portrayed Perchik the revolutionary in Goodspeed Opera House’s 50th Anniversary Production of Fiddler on the Roof and famed philosopher Baruch Spinoza in David Ives’ New Jerusalem at GableStage. With his 20 years of performance, Vivancos continues to deepen his storytelling through a diverse body of work and form.

Last night, Theatre Now New York (TNNY) presented its Sixth Annual Festival of 10-Minute Musicals at Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center, 129 West 67th Street, New York, NY 10023. SOUND BITES 6.0 grants composers, lyricists, and librettists the unique opportunity to present their work in front of a live audience. This one-night only event, now in its sixth year, showcases 10 new musicals by up-and-coming musical theatre writing teams.

On Monday, October 27, the Broadway at Birdland series was proud to present singer Trevor McQueen, who made his Birdland concert debut with a 17-piece big band. The concert featured Trevor's original tunes, and an epic salute to his musical inspiration, Sammy Davis, Jr. Musical direction and arrangements were by Angelo Di Loreto and Bryan Carter.
