Abbe Silverberg Sparks is the co-executive producer of the upcoming big band rock'n Cabaret Musical CHRISTMAS AIN'T A DRAG. As the founder and chief igniter of Abbe Sparks Media Group, a boutique communications firm, she specializes in influencer and social media marketing, brand strategy and advocacy for the entertainment and nonprofit industries. Abbe’s specialty is raising visibility that drives engagement, fan and follower growth and ticket sales for Off Broadway, regional theatre, cabaret and touring shows, independent films, TV shows and music concerts. Abbe received her Bachelor of Arts from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Her vast experience includes stints at Showtime Networks and Viacom, and agencies’ Fleischman and Golin, as well as working on entertainment projects with McDonald’s and The National Restaurant Association. She has also worked with numerous government, industry and consumer groups as The Partnership for Food Safety Education, The Partnership for Drug Safety Education, political action committees, the American Medical Association, and state and local health agencies.
A giver in her everyday life, Abbe is an officer of the Board of Ripple Effect Artists, an actor’s equity 501 (c)3 Off-Broadway theatre company that moves audiences from apathy to action through productions on social justice issues; as well as an advisor of The Florence Belsky Foundation, that mentors the next generation. Abbe has counseled pro bono a multitude of theatre groups; cultural, civic and health not-for-profit organizations. A graduate of Emory University’s College of Arts & Sciences in Atlanta, Georgia, and a native New Yorker, Abbe resides in New York City.
