Aaron Wright has been appointed Head of Performance and Dance at the Southbank Centre to lead its performance arts programme including dance, theatre, comedy and live art. Selina Thompson To Receive The Second Forced Entertainment Award

Forced Entertainment have announced artist and performer Selina Thompson as the second recipient of the Forced Entertainment Award (in memory of Huw Chadbourn). Created in 2018, the award will recognise one artist (or company) a year until 2021 and comprises £10,000 closely linked to a substantial package of mentoring and subsidiary support tailored each time to the needs and situation of the selected artist or group. The recipient of the 2018 inaugural award was Glasgow-based artist Nic Green.
The Yard Announces FIERCE VS. THE YARD

Burning Coal Theatre Company to Present THE WIZ

Burning Coal Theatre Company presents The Wiz by William F. Brown and Charlie Smalls, directed by Randolph Curtis Rand at The Murphey School Auditorium (224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC 27604) Thursdays through Saturdays December 3rd-5th, 10th-12th, and 17th-19st at 7:30 pm and Saturdays and Sundays December 5th-6th, 12th- 13th, and 19th- 20th at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $25 for general admission, $20 for seniors (65+), and $15 for students, teachers or active military. Burning Coal also offers group rates ($15 for groups of 10+) and $5 student rush tickets. All Thursday performances are $15.
