Portland-based songwriter Jenn Grinels has been chosen for the Emerging Writers Residency at Circle in the Square Theatre in NYC. Before leaving, she will present a concert of highlights from her new musical The Rosetta Project at Alberta Rose Theatre on February 25th. Tickets available at AlbertaRoseTheatre.com.

Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) hosted its first-ever full student matinee, on Thursday, October 20 at 11 a.m. Students from seven middle and high schools from throughout the region attended a special performance of the Playhouse’s acclaimed production of “Evita,” followed by a talk-back session with members of the cast and educators from the Playhouse. The matinee was sold out. See photos from the afternoon.

Now I know it may seem productions of this show are a dime-a-dozen… but this particular production should really not be missed.
