Wilson Center for the Arts on Florida State College at Jacksonville's South Campus. Registration opens Monday, October 15 at 10 a.m.

Seefestbuehne Moerbisch, situated next to the Austrian-Hungarian border in Niederoesterreich by the Lake Neusiedl is an exquisite venue to watch and listen to operetta. The enormous open-air theatre with its mighty stage has been a host to beautifully conceived classic operetta performances since 1957. Finalists Announced for the Triangle Rising Stars
Along with Marchael Bayne, Theatre in the Park and ABC 11, DPAC has just announced the finalists of this year's Triangle Rising Stars, part of the National High School Musical Theatre Awards (NHSMTA). This year marks the largest participation ever with 39 high school shows and 150 students competing for their chance to shine.

BWW Blog: Why Ballet Essential Ballet Training for a Musical Theatre Student
It is a widely known fact that ballet is the hardest style of dance to train in, and requires the use of muscles that the average person would not even know existed. The isolation of different body parts to properly execute ballet combinations is extremely difficult to mentally understand, let alone physically do, evidently making it a very stressful art form. Despite ballet being a nearly impossible art form to perfect, it is the ground foundation of any style of dance and sculpts your body into its best form, essential for any performer of any facet.

This weekend I had the great opportunity to meet the legendary, Tony and Grammy winning Kinky Boots star, Billy Porter! He was in town for a benefit event with Prima Theatre in Lancaster, PA which I attended and later got to participate in a meet and greet with him after the concert. It was only fitting for him to be here since the star grew up in Pennsylvania.
BWW Interviews: Sarah Primmer of CINDERELLA ON TOUR at Place Des Arts
Sarah Primmer was born in Atlanta, Georgia but moved to Connecticut at 7 years old. A classically trained singer, Primmer attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania where she studied music and theatre. Primmer currently resides in New York City, where she has been for the past 6 years.
I had the pleasure of sitting down with Primmer to discuss her past projects along with her current role of Madame in CINDERELLA on Tour.
