Tim Martin Gleason is an American actor and singer, known for his work on Broadway and in regional theater productions. Born and raised in San Francisco, Gleason began his career as a performer in his hometown before moving to New York City to pursue his dreams of acting on Broadway.
Gleason made his Broadway debut in the 1995 production of "The Phantom of the Opera," playing the role of Raoul. He went on to appear in several other Broadway productions, including "Les Misérables," "The Boys from Syracuse," and "Into the Woods." In 2002, he took over the role of Jean Valjean in "Les Misérables," earning critical acclaim for his performance.
In addition to his work on stage, Gleason has also appeared in several television shows and films. He had a recurring role on the popular soap opera "Guiding Light," and has also appeared on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "The Good Wife." His film credits include "The Stepford Wives" and "The Producers."
Gleason is also a talented singer, and has released several albums of Broadway and pop standards. His debut album, "Inside Out," was released in 2004, and features a mix of classic Broadway tunes and contemporary pop songs. He has also performed in concert venues across the country, including New York's famed Birdland Jazz Club.
