Award winning Host, TV/Radio Personality, Comedian and Interviewer Scott Nevins has hosted over 300 live events, and has collected a roster of celebrity interviews to rival a seasoned veteran twice his age. Between his two hit shows Scott Nevins *Presents* and The Scott Nevins Variety Hour plus numerous live events, Scott has interviewed some of the industries best including the legendary Liza Minnelli, Susan Lucci, Lynn Redgrave, Laura Linney, Rosie O'Donnell, Tammy Faye Messner-Bakker, Anna Gasteyer (Saturday Night Live), Idina Menzel, RuPaul, Deborah Cox (Recording Star), talk show host Graham Norton, Queer Eye's Jai Rodriguez, Comedian/Actor Hal Sparks, Dance Diva Pepper Mashay, original Village People Cowboy Randy Jones, writer and TV personalities Michael Musto and Bruce Vilanch, Emmy Award winning Soap stars Martha Byrne, Cady McClain, Dorothy Lyman, Kim Zimmer, and countless other Film, TV, Theater, and Recording stars.
Scott has appeared on Television on the Style Network ("Relationship Rehab"), QTV, Logo, Fuse TV, and MNN Television as host of "Out At The Center". He filmed "Up Close & Personal with Kimberley Locke" for a soon to be released DVD, and he hosted TV Land's first ever live celebrity online video chat where he interviewed Bebe Neuwirth, returning to TV LAND later to interview the All-Star cast of Broadway's "Young Frankenstein" including Emmy Winner Megan Mullaly. He headlined his own show at the legendary comedy club Carolines on Broadway, and Hosted/Produced the widely popular talent contest "XL Star" at XL lounge in NYC. Scott received high praise for several stints as the fill-in host of "The John McMullen Show" on Sirius Satellite Radio where he did his weekly Friday night segment "The Crapshoot - with Scott Nevins", and archives of Scott's popular web-radio show "On the Boards with Scott Nevins" can be heard at Broadwayworld.com.
Scott recently won critical and audience raves for his debut solo comedy show "Celebutant: Don't You Know Who I Think I Am?" which NEXT Magazine herald "With just Nevins and his microphone, the night erupts into a hilarious nonstop monologue!" Scott has been performing the show on tour, including Sold-Out stints in Los Angeles, Boston and Pennsylvania! As an actor, Scott appeared as a special guest star in the long running Off-Broadway hit Tony N Tina's Wedding, repeating his performance for an extended run in the Las Vegas Production, and he was recently seen as the character of the Director in The War of the Roses. He made cameos in Just Max: An Evening with Max von Essen and An Evening with John Tartaglia (both part of the Ars Nova "Broadway Spotlight Series"), and received an Audelco Award nomination for his directorial debut Popera!
Scott currently hosts the weekly Monday Night theater-fest Scott Nevins' Curtain Call at Splash bar's Musical Mondays in NYC, featuring a new Broadway guest star each week. Scott has proudly donated his talents to over 100 benefits, hosting shows for such wonderful organizations as Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, The Point Foundation, PFLAG, The Matthew Sheppard Foundation, God's Love We Deliver and many more.
Scott was awarded a 2005 Out There Award for his work, was nominated for a 2004 HX Award, 2004 Glammy Award, 2007 MAC Award, and was chosen by New York Magazine in their ‘Best of New York 2004' issue.
